The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr Hashim Thaçi, today hosted the French Defence Secretary, Mr Jean-Marie Bockel.
Prime Minister Thaçi thanked the French Defence Secretary for the support that France has given Kosovo at all times, and particularly in the period of state-building.
Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi expressed his gratitude and highest respect to Mr Jean-Marie Bockel for the support that the French government is giving in the transformation of the Kosovo Protection Corps (TMK) into the Kosovo Security Force, which will be a guarantee of security, peace and stability in Kosovo and the region.
In the meeting with Mr Jean-Marie Bockel, Prime Minister Thaçi was accompanied by the Minister of the Security Forces, Fehmi Mujota.
