Following the recent tragic accident involving the Metaj family of Hereq, near Gjakova, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, sent his condolences to the Metaj family. The telegramme reads:
Dearest family Metaj, the tragic death of members of the Metaj family was sad news for all of their compatriots.
We share your pain at the loss of those dearest to you, who were coming to Kosovo for the holidays, and wish you strength.
On my own behalf and that of the Government of Kosovo, I offer sincerest condolences.
