Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi meets with Ms. Janina Hrebickova, Czech Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo: The support of the Czech Republic will continue in the future, with the Czech Republic as head of the EU Presidency


Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi thanked the Czech Ambassador to Kosovo for the Czech Republic’s continual support for Kosovo during all phases, especially with the process of declaring and building the independent state of Kosovo. Prime Minister Thaçi received the pledge that the support of the Czech Republic will continue in the future, with the Czech Republic as head of the EU Presidency; through support for the integration of Kosovo and especially for the recognition of the state of Kosovo by other countries of the European Union.

In an interview with Bekim Abazi, “Voice of America” correspondent in Prishtina, Prime Minister Thaçi expressed his belief that following the deployment of EULEX, even in the north, the authority of the institutions of the country will extend also to that part, excluding any use of violence whatsoever in the process.

The Minister of the Kosovo Security Force, Fehmi Mujota, and the Italian Ambassador in Prishtina, Michael L. The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has reacted to Serbia’s request for the implementation of the UN Secretary-General’s six points, reiterating that the only documents based on which the state of Kosovo will function are the Constitution and the Ahtisaari Plan. “Ban Ki-moon’s report that was discussed at the Security Council does not have an obligatory character,” said the head of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi.
