Dear family Rexhepi,
Dear officials of the Prefecture of Vlora,
The tragic death of Prefect Xhevahir Rexhepi was bitter news for me and for the delegation that I have been leading on an official visit to Albania.
The news was all the sadder when the city of Vlora had only one day previously named me an “Honorary Citizen”.
I offer the Rexhepi family my most sincere condolences, wishing them strength.
To all the colleagues and co-workers of Prefect Rexhepi I offer my deepest condolences on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
