Kosovo Government PM Hashim Thaçi received the Bulgarian Minister for European Affairs, Ms. Gergana Grancharova
Prime Minister Thaçi thanked the senior Bulgarian official for Bulgaria’s recognition of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as for the coordinated policies for the recognition of Kosovo by the countries in the region (Croatia and Hungary).
Also, PM Thaçi valued highly the international presence of Bulgaria in Kosovo, and asked for the deepening of the cooperation between the to countries. They discussed abort the Bulgarian investments in Kosovo and the Exchange of experiences in the domain of European integration.
Minister Grancharova expressed her acknowledgment for the maturity of Kosovar leadership during the process of the independence proclamation, and on behalf of the Bulgarian Government offered assistance for the increase of human capacities of the Kosovar institutions.
“The economic cooperation between Kosovo and Bulgaria in the future will expand”, said Ms. Grancharova, adding she was pleased with the stability of both Kosovo and the region.
