The actual developments, coordination and collaboration of Kosovo government with Kosovo Protection Corps, were in the focus of today’s meeting between prime minister of Kosovo , Hashim Thaçi and KPC commandant ,general lieutenant Sylejman Selimi.
Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi expressed the fully support for the reformation and transformation KPC, in accordance with contemporary standards of NATO, where will transform it in a new force of country security. “KPC has done and is doing an excellent work, especially now, when we wait higher responsibility from it, in the eve of Kosovo independence and in the tenth anniversary of legendary commandant Adem Jashari. KPC will my fully support and help as prime minister of Kosovo, but also of the government of Kosovo.” said Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi.
Commandant of KPC, general lieutenant Sylejman Selimi, informed the Prime Minister Thaçi about the engagement and the work that is done by KPC. “KPC will be in the entire coordination with government of Kosovo and its prime minister, and also will collaborate closely with institutions, KFOR and Kosovo police”, emphasized general lieutenant Selimi.
