Prime Minister Thaçi: Decisions by Macedonia and Montenegro to recognize the state of Kosovo strengthen peace, stability and cooperation in the region – more recognitions of Kosovo to come


On behalf of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, I appreciate the decisions and thank both governments of the neighboring countries, of Montenegro and of Macedonia, to recognize Kosovo as an independent, sovereign and democratic state. The decisions by Podgorica and Skopje are responsible decisions in line with the will of the people of Kosovo for an independent, sovereign and democratic state, and as a multiethnic society – said Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi, in a press conference today.

Prime Minister Thaçi returns from EU Foreign Ministers meeting in Brdo: European community acknowledges progress made in Kosova

Upon his return to the Airport of Prishtina, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosova, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, said that all the EU member states support the independence of Kosova. “Even those countries that have not yet recognized the new state are in the process of recognition. A part of them will recognize us very soon, while the others in a short period of time,” said the Kosova Prime Minister.

Public discussion about Final Draft on Kosova Program for Gender Equality
