The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, in an interview with B92, emphasized that Belgrade must realize that Kosovo is an independent and democratic state. ”Belgrade does not have authority in Kosovo. There will not be illegal and illegitimate structures in Kosovo; parallel structures in justice, policing, customs or other sectors will not exist. We will operate in a stable way, as a unified state, with a functioning system for all of the citizens of Kosovo,” said Prime Minister Thaçi.

But we have represented with the greatest faithfulness the judgement of the state institutions of Kosovo regarding the 6 points, that they are unacceptable to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and to the people of Kosovo - emphasized the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, after his meeting today with Mr. Daniel Fried, Assistant Secretary of State, during Fried’s visit to Kosovo.

We will continue to cooperate with the USA and the EU, so that EULEX will operate in all of the territory of Kosovo. However, the six points in their current form are unacceptable for the institutions of Kosovo – emphasized the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, after touring the 7 kilometer road between Kryshec and Broliq, in the municipality of Peja. On this occasion, Prime Minister Thaçi mentioned his commitment to other projects for the people of Dukagjin, which will contribute to the modernization and general improvement of life in this region.
