Prime Minister Thaçi briefed Ambassador Almhofer on the progress Kosovo has made in building sustainable, democratic and effective institutions, on the transparent work in the field of rule of law and on the commitment of the Government to fight the negative phenomena, on the composition of the Government as a multiethnic body and on the functioning of the local governments.
“I believe that we share all the priorities, and we will work together on implementing them, and I have full trust that we will succeed in building a new, democratic, independent and sovereign Kosovo,” said Mr. Thaçi.
Talking about the new role of the OSCE, Prime Minister Thaçi said that the OSCE will have an advisory and supporting role for the institutions and all the political parties in Kosovo and for the entire Kosovo society.
OSCE Ambassador, Mr. Werner Almhofer said that he will continue the good cooperation with the institutions of Kosovo to further strengthen and develop democracy and integration processes.
