During his stay in New York, where he attended a meeting of the Security Council, Minister of the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, H.E. Skender Hyseni met few representatives of accredited countries to the United Nations Organization.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to brief you, the honorable members of the Security Council on the continued accomplishments and steady progress the Republic of Kosovo has been making in all areas, with a special focus on the achievements since my last Statement to the Council in March .

Kosovar Foreign Affairs Minister, H.E. Mr. Skender Hyseni met today with Norwegian State Secretary. Mrs. Elisabeth Walaas. During the fruitful and friendly meeting, Minister Hyena and Norwegian State Secretary, Waals shared their viewpoints on the processes flow in Kosovo, process of recognitions, visa liberalization process, etc.

After consulting the President and the Prime Minister, today Kosovar Foreign Affairs Minister, H.E. Mr. Skender Hyseni, has handed over to the Parliamentarian Commission for Foreign Affairs the short listed candidates’ names who applied for ambassador’s position in the open vacancies for the eighteen embassies of the Republic of Kosovo.
