Study visit in Sweden

From 18-22 of March, the Chief Executive Officer of SOK, the Head of Agriculture Statistics Department and the Coordinator of Sweden Statistics, SIDA alongside SOK, were in study visit in Sweden. This visit was financed by Swedish SIDA (Sweden International Development Agency).

 

Aim of visit

The aim of visit was the study from experience of Swedish Statistics, familiarity with organized structure in order that the gained experience from this visit to be applied in Kosovo. Other purpose was further cooperation with Swedish Statistics and SIDA.

The program of study visit:

  • Presentation on management in Swedish statistics, from the general director angle.

  • Management in Swedish statistics, cooperation between general director, and head of departments and sectors.

  • The system of statistical council, advisory board. Duties, responsibilities and the system of management of Swedish statistics.

  • Presentation on staff policies, training programs and the ways for delegation of responsibilities.

  • Efficiency of mass media.

  • Cooperation with Eurostat and other international organizations from statistical perspective.

  • Presentation on methods, price statistics, labour force and national accounts.

  • Visit in the SIDA office in Stockholm – division for south-east of Europe .
