Initial figures for Kosovo’s external trade of goods show a net trade deficit 177,7 million € for December 2009 compared with deficit of 192,4 million € for the same period 2008.Export and Import for period 2009 were worth respectively 16,3 million € and 194,1 million €. There is a increase (52.7%) for exports and decreased (4.4%) for imports compared to the sameperiod 2008.pdf.

Overall index of consumer prices in Kosovo is higher for 0,3% in February 2010 compared with January 2010. February 2009 compared with January 2009 had decreased to -0,2%. The inflation rate measured in February 2010 with February 2009 was 1,1%.pdf.

Producer price index in Kosovo increased at an average of 4.0% between the third quarter 2009and third quarter 2008. The larger increase in branches were in production of machines and equipment (12.4%), electricity, gas, steam and heated water supply (10.4%), collection, purification and distribution of water (9.5%) and production of dough from paper and paper articles (2.1%).pdf.

Total revenues of the General Government in 2008 were 1.303,3 million Euros, which means that there is an increase in revenue compared with last year. Donor assistance or aid were 343,2 million Euros (306.3 donor grants from the foreign countries and 36.8 million Euros as investment grants), which represent 26,3% of total revenue. Participation of donor assistance in General Government revenues in 2008 was small in comparison with previous years (in 2008 was 26,3% in 2007 was 27,3%, in 2006 was 35,2% in 2005 was 37,5% and in 2004 was 44,9%).pdf
